LOS ANGELES — Judge Gregory W. Alarcon is huge fan of the Shakespearean tragedy Hamlet, an affinity evidenced by the posters lining the walls of his chambers. And like Hamlet, the judge often appears deep in thought, taking arguments under submission instead of making a snap decision.
