LOS ANGELES - Jurors who land on a trial with Superior Court Judge Gregory W. Alarcon should consider themselves lucky.
Though it could mean sitting through the drawn-out, complex business disputes that crowd his civil calendar at the main civil courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, there are certain perks.
