When State Bar Court Judge Manjari Chawla was advised to apply for the position of hearing judge, she was unaware that the court existed.

“Of course, I knew that attorneys could be disciplined for misconduct,” Chawla said. “But I did not know much about that process. It’s interesting now that I’ve been on the court for two years that I did not know about the very important work that this court does.”
