LOS ANGELES — In her chambers, Judge Wendy Segall has hung a courtroom artist’s sketch of herself holding a shotgun and showing it to a jury.

The scene was from the stalking case of gymnast Shawn Johnson more than a decade ago and while Segall was trying to prove the threat posed to the victim, she also said she made the case the stalker needed help.
