SAN BERNARDINO — When Commissioner Aruna P. Rodrigo and his wife were newly out of law school, they brought a baby into their lives: a foster newborn from Los Angeles County.
“Everybody’s going like, ‘You guys are so young,’” Rodrigo said. “But I always tell people, given the opportunity fostering kids and adopting kids helped us grow up fast.”
