Michael principally represents participants in the political process and those whose constitutional rights have been violated, as well as organizations and individuals facing investigation and punishment by federal and state government agencies and prosecutors. Additionally, he litigates whistleblower claims of fraud in government contracts and programs. He is a former Assistant United States Attorney, currently serves on the board of the California Political Attorneys Association, and is a senior fellow at the Institute for Free Speech.
