
Independent Arbitrator and Adjunct Professor

Neumann is an independent arbitrator and Adjunct Professor of Law at the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. He graduated with high honors in Chinese language and literature from Dartmouth College, holds a J.D. from UCLA Law where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pacific Basin Law Journal, and an LL.M from the Straus Institute. Before pursuing international arbitration, Peter practiced international corporate/M&A law with international law firms, including 20 years in greater China. He is listed on the arbitrator rosters of various Asian arbitral commissions, the AAA National Roster and FINRA panel of arbitrators. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and currently serves as the CIArb NAB Los Angeles Chapter Chair.
