Imperial County District Attorney George Marquez has a rare perspective that comes from having served in the courtroom as both a prosecutor and a public defender. A Western State College of Law alumnus and 2024 Hall of Fame inductee, Marquez also has experience in working with and teaching educators how to respond to truancy or delinquency in schools and training law enforcement to testify in court. He is currently an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at San Diego State University.
