Dixon Diab & Chambers LLP, just three years old and with three lawyers, has made a name for itself suing utilities and pharmaceutical companies.

Timing has been good for the San Diego firm. It's shingle was barely hung when wildfires ravaged Napa and Sonoma counties, causing up to $14 billion in damages. Pacific Gas & Electric Co.'s equipment caused the disasters.
