Beating the System

Umhofer, Mitchell & King celebrated its one-year anniversary with a big win in fight against homelessness.

Civil litigator Elizabeth A. Mitchell hasn't forgotten the first time she met her partner, Matthew D. Umhofer.

"I was a 3L law student, and he was my intern coordinator at the U.S. Attorney's Office," Mitchell said, recalling her initial interview at the Central District in Los Angeles in 2006.
