Facts

On June 12, 2008, a vehicle driven by defendant Stefan Staben collided with a vehicle driven by plaintiff Roderick Cudjo, while Cudjo was exiting the 280 Freeway at the Geneva Street off-ramp.

Cudjo filed an action against Staben for negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged that he had driven into an intersection with the exit-ramp on a green light and that defendant ran a red light, causing the collision.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant argued that he went into the intersection when the light was turning from green to yellow.

Damages

Plaintiff sought to recover damages for wage loss, medical costs, and other compensatory damages.

Injuries

Plaintiff suffered back, neck, and lower back injuries, and strains and sprains.
