After the decedent was murdered in the store where he worked after hours, plaintiffs Luz Garcia, Vanessa Castro, Selma Castro, Marcella Castro Garcia, and Marco Garcia filed suit against the shopping center and the supermarket located within the shopping center.

Contentions

PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs contended that the supermarket should be held liable for inadequate lighting within the parking lot and that the shopping center should be held liable for inadequate security.
