The claimants asserted causes of action for negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and failure to supervise. The causes of action related to the donation of claimants' trust funds to the University of North Carolina Washington.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
The respondents denied the claimants' allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses.

Damages

The claimants requested $500,000 in compensatory damages, punitive damages, and attorney fees.

Result

The arbitration panel recommended the expungement of all references to the arbitration matter from Moskowitz's registration records. Otherwise, it found that the claimants' claims were false.
