Facts

Verdugo Mental Health, which provided mental health services to Glendale-area residents, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Verdugo was a nonprofit agency that offered low-cost services to over 2,000 clients a year.

Result

The bankruptcy judge approved the sale of Verdugo's facility to a nonprofit in Culver City, Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. Verdugo continued to provide its services until the close of the sale to Didi on May 20, 2011.
