Former Eureka Police Department Supervisor Tawnie Hansen sued the Department alleging that the city, and specifically City Manager David Tyson, vindictively and unreasonable delayed and diluted an investigation into her harassment complaints against the Police Department employees. As a result, the harassment was allowed to continue for more than one year.

Result

The matter was settled for $200,000.
