Facts

On Feb. 7, 2005, Angel Quick backed into the vehicle, in which Zipora Wright was a passenger. Later, police cited Quick for driving while intoxicated. Wright brought an action against Quick for motor vehicle negligence.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff demanded $15,000 and the defendant offered $9,000, which was withdrawn after the court ruled on motions in limine on July 29, 2008.

Injuries

The plaintiff claimed injuries to the back, hip, neck, ankle, and shoulder, which required physical therapy and chiropractic treatment.

Result

The judge granted the defense a dismissal.
