Facts

The current and former employees of several producers and broadcasters of television programs sued their employers for violations of the California Labor Code due to failure to pay wages and provide breaks, and improper record keeping. The two sets of employees participated in related class actions and performed story development services from July 7, 2001 to Nov. 14, 2008 and from Aug. 23, 2001 to Dec. 18, 2008.
