Facts

In March 2007, male plaintiff Doe Minor, age 9, was crossing the street at the intersection of Lorena Avenue and Beswick Street in Los Angeles. Defendant Ashley Pacillas suddenly struck him with a car owned by defendants Veronica and Manuela Arellano.

Injuries

The plaintiff claimed a left femur fracture, left clavicle fracture, and lacerated spleen. He required a blood transfusion and surgery.

Result

The case settled for policy limits of $100,000.
