On Jan. 12, 2006, at 6:00 p.m., plaintiff Armando Trujillo, 41 was traveling westbound on Mason Street, Canoga Park, in the number one lane. Defendant Andrew K. Smith was traveling southbound on Mason Street veered onto westbound Mason Street and collided with plaintiff.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The plaintiff contended that the defendant was negligent and inattentive while operating his vehicle; that defendant operated his vehicle in an unreasonable and unsafe manner.

Injuries

The plaintiff suffered from cervical myofacial strain with C7, lumbar strain with intermittent radiculopathy and magnetic resonance, and disc protrusion at L4-5 and L5-S1. The plaintiff was diagnosed with left elbow contusion with medial epicondylitis, left wrist strain de quervain's tenosynovitis, and partial tear of the triangular fibrocartilage, flexor tendon tendonitis, bilateral knee contusion with patellar tendonitis and patellofemoral subluxation.
