Plaintiff Newton Martin claimed that on Oct. 17, 2006, at the crossing of Sanchez Street and 18th Street, San Francisco, he sustained injuries from a delivery truck driven by defendant Marvin Pereira and owned by defendant Lord & Sons, Inc. Pereira was driving the vehicle in the course and scope of his employment. Defendant Lord & Sons Inc was Pereira's employer.
