Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Perez contended that Stericycle violated the False Claims Act by improperly increasing its service price to certain government customers without their consent or contractual authorization, resulting in approximately $13.57 million in overpayment for services and products.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Stericycle denied wrongdoing.

The parties settled for $28.5 million.
