Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The city contended that TWC owed it franchise and Public Educational and Government fees.
DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
TWC counterclaimed, contending that the city owed it money.
Result
Pursuant to the settlement reached between TWC and the city, Los Angeles will classify TWC's May 2011 payment of $5.2 million as franchise fees. The city also agreed that TWC paid in full all required fees through September 2015.
