Facts
A class action was filed against Oversee.net Inc. and SnapNames.com Inc. involving an auction bidding wherein a SnapNames.com employee allegedly bid in approximately 50,000 domain name auctions between 2005 and 2009, without disclosing his status as a SnapNames.com employee. The complaint alleged that the former SnapNames.com employee, using the bidding name "halvarez," was not supposed to bid on any auctions, and SnapNames and Oversee were complicit in the bidding practice of "halvarez."

Settling Class Members are given the opportunity to receive a rebate in the amount that claimant overpaid because of "halvarez's" bidding in auctions that claimant won, including interest at the rate of 5.22 percent, compounded annually through Oct. 31, 2009. A Fairness Hearing is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2011.
