Facts

Four marijuana dispensaries in the City of Los Angeles filed lawsuits, attacking a city ordinance that will block dispensaries registered after Nov. 13, 2007 from remaining in operation. The dispensaries sought temporary restraining orders to stop the City from closing them after the ordinance took effect on June 7, 2010.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The dispensaries contended that operators would face irreparable harm in the event that defendant imposed fines or imprisoned them.

Result

The court denied the motions for restraining orders.
