Facts
Plaintiff Pacific Gas and Electric Company wanted to construct a project known as the Tesla-Newark 230 kV Reinforcement Project that would increase the capability of the electric transmission line, on property owned by defendant city and county of San Francisco located on the east side of Andrade Road in Sunol, Alameda County.
Plaintiff, alleging the project was necessary in order to provide safe, reliable electric service to its customers, sought an easement to construct and maintain equipment for the project.
Result
Settlement whereby defendant would receive $10,000 for the easement area and plaintiff would have the right to construct and maintain equipment to transmit electricity.
