Plaintiff sought judicial review of the Commissioner of Social Security's decision denying her application for Disability Insurance Benefits under the Social Security Act.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff contended that she was disabled due to fibromyalgia, severe body pain, anxiety, poor concentration, diabetes, manic episodes, chronic fatigue, insomnia, depression, carpal tunnel syndrome, and obesity. She claimed that the administrative law judge erred in discrediting plaintiff's subjective pain testimony and in discrediting her lay witness' testimony.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
The Commissioner refuted plaintiff's contentions, arguing that the ALJ provided specific, well-supported and legally sufficient reasons for discrediting the testimony.
Result
The court denied plaintiff's appeal and entered judgment in the Commissioner's favor.
