PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff, which made clothing and apparel, sued its former warehouse logistics company for asserting a warehouse lien just before the December 2015 holiday season. Defendant allegedly overcharged plaintiff by adding bogus addendums to the parties' contract and, in turn, using those additional terms to assert the lien against plaintiff. Defendant then threatened to sell plaintiff's merchandise at a public auction. Plaintiff maintained that the liens were invalid. Plaintiff contended that defendant's conduct constituted breach of contract and fraud.
Defendants were also cross-complainants seeking over a million dollars.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendants filed a cross complaint for fraud and breach of contract.

The jury rendered a verdict in favor of Thread Collective. The jury ruled in favor of cross-defendants on defendant's cross-complaint.
