Josefina Kenline worked for the City of La Puente as an administrator from December 2009 to December 2010. She filed suit against the City and Mayor John Solis.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged that was forced to suffer a sexually hostile environment where Solis allegedly made inappropriate sexual innuendos and made sexual requests. Further, she alleged gender discrimination, unlawful retaliation, breach of contact, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Result

The parties reached a $300,000 settlement, which included a $160,000 severance pay.
