Ruby Pasco was stopped at a red light when she was rear-ended by a vehicle operated by Elizabeth Andrews. Pasco sued Andrews and her father, Anthony Andrews. She alleged that Andrews was negligent in the operation of her vehicle and her father was vicariously liable for her actions. Pasco argued that Andrews was driving inattentively and failed to stop her vehicle in time.
