Plaintiff Granite filed a motion to confirm a $37,423.50 arbitration award issued to Granite, against The Pressure Grout Co.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The Pressure Grout Co. had previously brought claims against Granite for alleged unpaid work and additional work performed under its subcontract with Granite.

Plaintiff sought $71,715 from defendant in connection with the parties' agreement.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied plaintiff's claims and sought $59,741 for unpaid work and $11,974 in damages allegedly due to plaintiff's failure to perform the subcontract timely and competently.

Result

The arbitrator found The Pressure Grout liable to Granite. Plaintiff's motion to confirm the $37,423.50 arbitration award was granted.
