Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff filed this action on behalf of himself and other pharmacists who were employed by defendants. Defendants allegedly violated the Labor Code, Business and Professions Code, and the Private Attorneys General Act by failing to pay overtime, failing to provide accurate itemized wage statements, committing conversion, and engaging in unfair practices.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Defendants denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses.

Result

The parties reached a $2,937,600 settlement on a non-reversionary basis. The court awarded class representative $5,000 as an incentive.
