Aaron Kaplan was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Limonite Avenue in Riverside when Maribel Puga stopped and made a right turn in front of him. Kaplan hit Puga's vehicle after braking, causing him to fall off the motorcycle.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Kaplan filed suit against Puga, alleging motor vehicle negligence.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant contended that she was not negligent and Puga filed a cross-complaint against Kaplan, alleging he negligently struck her vehicle.

Damages

Kaplan sought $90,000 in damages for medical expenses.

Kaplan sustained an injury to his right clavicle.
