Facts

Summit Entertainment LLC was the exclusive licensee of a documentary film entitled "Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town," which depicted the relationship between the town and the Twilight movies.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Summit filed suit against Topics Entertainment Inc., alleging copyright and trademark infringement, false designation of origin and dilution, as well as unfair competition. Summit contended that Topics marketed a documentary called "Forks: Bitten by Twilight," which infringed on Summit's copyright to the movie and video cover.

Result

The parties reached a settlement whereby Topics would cease infringement on the Twilight marks.
