The plaintiff was driving eastbound on Culver Boulevard. As plaintiff was turning left onto the Marina Freeway, defendant, who was driving westbound, allegedly ran a red light and struck plaintiff.

The plaintiff contended that the defendant ran the red light and caused the accident. The plaintiff's account of the incident was supported by a favorable witness and the police report.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
The defendant contended that plaintiff made an unsafe left turn in front of defendant.
