Facts

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) employed Lwanda Okello in Oakland. On June 24, 2004, Okello brought an action against the chair of the EEOC, Cari Dominguez, for violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The plaintiff asserted that his employer discriminated against him due to his race, sex, age, and disability. Further, Dominguez retaliated against him when Dominguez denied a request for accommodations and processed the request in an untimely manner.

Result

The parties reached a settlement amounting to $15,000.
