Facts

Plaintiff sought judicial review of a final decision by the Commissioner denying her application for supplemental security income under the Social Security Act.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff contended that the administrative law judge's RFC determination was based on legal error and insubstantial evidence. Specifically, she questioned the judge's rejection of one doctor's opinion in favor of another doctor where the former's opinion was based on a more complete medical record and the reasons stated for rejecting his opinion were inadequate.

Result

The court reversed the Commissioner's decision to deny benefits and remanded to the ALJ.
