On Sept. 4, 2009, Gina Halamandaris was driving on Pacific Coast Highway, and entered the left turning lane at an intersection. She hit the side of a vehicle being driven by Isabelle Zingale, while Zingale moved forward out of a driveway at the intersection's corner. Halamandaris filed a lawsuit against Zingale, alleging negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
