Facts

On March 28, 2007, plaintiff minor, age 11, attended defendant Children's Hospital Los Angeles to seek care for an injured foot. The plaintiff, through his guardian ad litem, Rosa Ortiz, claimed defendant did not diagnose the fracture in his foot before release. Plaintiff allegedly aggravated the injury as a result and his recovery period was increased. The plaintiff sought reimbursement for aggravation of the foot fracture.

Result

The defendant settled with plaintiff for $5,000.
