Plaintiffs Ronald Kadey, a 53-year-old CPA, and Peggy Kadey, a 52-year-old interior designer, contended they
suffered a house fire and the plaintiffÆs insurer sent defendant Alpine to eliminate the smoke odor. The
defendant ran an ozone machine in the house for five days. The plaintiffs entered the house at the defendantÆs
invitation while the ozone machine was running in the sealed-off bedroom.
The plaintiffs contended they suffered permanent and disabling injuries from exposure to ozone in the air.
Settlement Discussions
