Facts

On April 4, 1999, at 7:30 a.m., the plaintiff was traveling eastbound on the Bellevue Redmond Road. The
plaintiff contended that he proceeded through the intersection of Bell-Red Road and 156th Avenue northeast on
a green light when the defendant who was traveling northbound on 156th Ave northeast came through the
same intersection striking the plaintiffÆs vehicle.
The defendant contended that she had the green light, however she admitted to the investigating officer that her
attention was distracted prior to entering the intersection and she could not say for sure what color the light
was when she entered the intersection.
