The plaintiff, a 35-year-old, housemover contended that he stopped to avoid colliding with defendant Zielske on
Interstate 405 northbound, as the defendant cut into the car pool lane without giving proper time notice and
signaling. The plaintiff also contended that he avoided striking defendant but was rear-ended by defendant
Lacy, who was following too closely with a fully loaded pick-up truck and trailer holding four men and
landscape equipment.
