Facts

Plaintiff Keshana Durham, a minor, was riding rear passenger on the driver's side in plaintiff Nakesha Durham's car. While on the I-10 freeway east of the La Brea off-ramp in Los Angeles, Durham's car was involved in a lane-change collision with a delivery truck. The delivery truck toppled over on top of Durham's car and injured plaintiffs.

Defendant CP Food Inc. owned the truck and the driver was Hong Hyunh.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Defendant CP Food Inc. cross-complained against Nakesha Durham alleging that she was the primary cause of the accident.

Damages

$8,699 in medical expenses.

Injuries

Plaintiff Keshana Durham suffered headaches and back discomfort. She also alleged pain in her shoulder, abdomen, right hip, right arm, and ribs.
