On Feb. 12, 2005, plaintiff Hannah Nossaman, a 35-year-old sales representative for wine distributors, was celebrating a birthday at Bliss Restaurant in Los Angeles. She slipped and fell on a wet floor after leaving the downstairs women's bathroom. She sued defendant Mikayel Israyelyan, individually and operating as Bliss Restaurant, for premises liability, failure to warn, dangerous condition and negligent maintenance.
Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The plaintiff contended she was forced to use a restroom downstairs because the first-floor women's room was out of order. The plaintiff was also denied access to the men's room on the first floor.
