Facts

A class action was filed against Beiersdorf Inc., makers of NIVEA skin care products over advertising claims of NIVEA Good-bye cellulite products. The company claimed that its Good-bye Cellulite products decreased the appearance of cellulite.

Result

Beiersdorf denied the allegations, but agreed to pay up to $3.175 million to settle the claims.
