Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff contended that the administrative law judge erred by failing to provide legally sufficient reasons for rejecting evidence that plaintiff was prescribed a cane by his treating doctor, and by failing to provide legally sufficient reasons for finding plaintiff was not fully credible.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant contended that the record was devoid of evidence that a cane was medically necessary and that the record supported the ALJ's determination that plaintiff did not need to use a walker or cane.
Result
The court denied plaintiff's appeal, finding the ALJ's decision supported by substantial evidence and based on proper legal standards.
