Facts

On Oct. 24, 2005, Ronald Richman's vehicle was involved in an accident with a vehicle driven by an employee of the United States of America and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. Richman claimed to have suffered injuries due to the accident and sued the United States of America as a result.

The parties reached a settlement amounting to $200,000.
