On Feb. 20, 2005, plaintiff Chao Chen, 55, and his wife, Ming Jiang, 53, were in their vehicle when defendant Ji Li backed his vehicle into Chen's while leaving a parking lot. Chen and Jiang filed suit for motor vehicle negligence.
