Facts

In September 2002, plaintiff Angela Sammartino was in a car accident which occurred at the intersection of state route 56 and Douglas Drive in Oceanside. Plaintiff asserted that her injuries were caused by the accident, in which defendants James Housewright and Frederick Matthews negligently owned and operated their vehicle. Further, plaintiff claimed that at the time of the accident, defendants were in the course and scope of their employment.

Defendant Matthews conceded liability. Defendant Housewright disputed any liability.

Result

The judgment was for $128,867.
