Facts

Bell Innovative Products Inc. and Steve Tayrien were embroiled in a dispute concerning certain royalty payments. Subsequently Bell Innovative and Tayrien, who was an inventor, settled their dispute. The settlement was memorialized in a contract. Tayrien filed a lawsuit against Bell Innovative, claiming Bell Innovative breached its obligations under the contract.
