Vikas Rehil was driving northbound on Goldstone Road in Camp Erwin on March 17, 2008 when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle operated by Ryan Austin at the intersection of Rineland Drive.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Rehil filed suit against Austin, alleging motor vehicle negligence. Rehil contended that Austin failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic when turning left at the intersection.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Austin admitted liability, but disputed Rehil's claimed injuries.

Damages

Rehil sought $43,227 in damages for past lost earnings, as well as $422,664 for future lost earnings and $203,200 in pain and suffering.
